Dancehall star Konshens wrap up his six week European tour and will return home with his double platinum plaque for single ‘Policeman’, the collaboration with Dutch singer Eva Simmons. Policeman, has been certified platinum in the Netherlands and went gold in Belgium. With the momentum surrounding his recent success Konshens has decided to return to New York City and celebrate with his fans.
On Thursday November 19th Konshens will perform with live band, at the world renown SOBs,
204 Varick Street, in New York City. “I am no stranger in New York, but I don’t usually get the opportunity to give a full performance. My set are usually short in New York, usually a fifteen to thirty minutes. But on Thursday November 19th I want all my fans, day one fans, new fans to come out and lets ‘Turn it Up’ says Konshens.
Konshens last performance at SOBs, was in 2012. At that time he was one of the acts on Hot97 Whos Next signature event and is returning three years later as the headliner. SOBs known for showcasing artists like P Diddy Combs, Nicki Minaj, Damian Junior Gong Marley, Drake, Morgan Heritage just to name a few, remains a staple within the global diaspora. Today SOB’s draws both local and international crowds and continues to specialize in Latin music, Haitian, Brazilian, Caribbean, R&B, Hip-Hop and World music. On Thursday November 19th fans will be able to connect with Konshens on a personal level because of the intimate and unique setting of SOBs.
