Ifeel writes "My early music history
My 1st stage performance began at the age of four in the Caribbean Island of
Dominica and that was the start of my musical journey. Music became a discipline in our family life, enforce upon us by our grandfather who was the district church organist. My grandfather had sixteen children and over seventy grandchildren. At least 30% of his generation became involved in music at some point in their lives playing instruments or singing. The guitar was the choice of instrument for many of us since it was more accessible and cheaper to buy. Sometimes we would build our guitars from wood and nylon strings. Like many of my older relatives, I also started to play the guitar at age twelve followed by the piano at age thirteen and have continue until today.

Work and travel experiences as a musician.
1975-1977, traveled to Guadeloupe in the French West Indies to play with a group. The experience was quite rewarding and one that I will always cherish always.
1977-1981, played with many calypso artist including, "The Mighty Sparrow", "The Mighty Arrow" "Short Shirt", The Baron, Super Blue and many others. During that time, I traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean including Trinidad, Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, St Croix, St Thomas, Martinique, St Marteen and many more.
The accompanying groups during those years were "The Dominica Swinginstars" and "Emphasis Band", and a few make band all based in Dominica.
1983-1996 I traveled across Canada to cities such British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec, Saskatoon and Ontario, with groups like,” Explosion Band”,” High energy Band" "Steady Vibes Band" and "Stand firm Group". We accompanied several local and international Reggae and Calypso artist such as Errol Blackwood, Ellsworth James, The Baron, Lazo, The Mighty Mistics and many more. I would just say here that my Grandfather's name was Steady and all the members of Steady Vibes band at that time were his grandchildren so the name waw actually created after by him.
1996-1998 I toured with the "Calabash band" and "Gorey band" to provide accompaniment for reggae artists such as Gregory Isaacs, Judy Mowat, Sanchez, Nasio Fontain, Yami Bolo, Glen Washington, Sister Carol Sanchez, Delroy Wilson and many more. Working with those artist gave me the opportunity to travel to many U.S cities including the Hawaiian Islands, California, Colorado, New York, Washington D.C. The Imergency Band
The Emergency Band is the name that is used to accompany any or all of the artists mentioned above. We have done significantly well in and around the Connecticut area. The musicians are very dedicated to this group and are looking for every opportunity to showcase our musical talents. We are looking forward to working with many people as possible and we hope that promoters, engineer, record companies and people in the music industry find us a pleasant joy to work with as well. We are in the process of putting together a tour that would bring all or some of these talented artists to the world wherever and whenever it is possible to do so.
Stay tuned to Multimix Radio, another family of CAKAFETE INC and the forum for more developments and information on Paco Records and it's music with Osborne (Ifield) Joseph."
