  1. Parents need to be a little more involved of their kids life. Its easy to blame everyone else and even an object.

She’s actually not right. She’s basically just guessing. She’s saying what she thinks, not what she knows. There’s a big difference. She has no professional training in the mental health field to make a factual assessment. There’s plenty of people with mental health issues who never kill anyone. There’s plenty of people without mental health issues who comment murder too. So the whole “mental health” argument is unfounded. If all these shooters actually suffer from mental health issues, then they can’t be held criminally responsible in a court of law. Which isn’t the case with most of these shooters. Most are found competent to stand trial. The premeditation and planning in these shootings is not indicative of someone suffering from “mental illness”. These shooters knew what they were doing, when they did it, and they knew what they were doing was wrong. That’s “sanity” not “insanity”. People who pull the mental health card in these situations don’t have a firm grasp on what mental health trually is, and how it’s actually defind. They just look at a situation and say, “that person must be crazy”. Wrong! The act of simply shooting someone with a gun dose not automatically constitute “mental illness”.

  2. Finally someone who gets it! When I was in school bully’s were ignored by teachers and students who were introverted and isolated were ignored. When are people going to get that letting kids remain isolated and thought of as weirdos by everyone is setting up a perfect storm. There should be programs to help these kids find a peer group and acceptance. I am not defending the shooters at all, but I think lonely, sad people who also have home life problems are at the greatest risk for going off the deep end.

    • Kevin Skaggs also people have literally been stabbed to death and hacked to deth with axes in england

    • There are many people who are bullied in school and who suffer mental illnesses. Yet they don’t jump to becoming monsters.

    • lmfao….this school shooter killed a girl because she didn’t want to go to the dance with him.

  3. Much better than the stupid people blaming guns and totally ignoring the perpetrators

    • Dirk Diggler further regulations are already in place people will still somehow get guns to commit crimes if they’re regulated like alcohol and drugs are used when they’re illegal for certain people

    • You’re probably scared of your own shadow. I’m sure God was thrilled the day man invented the gun.

  4. She is very right! People need to bé more aware. Pay attention, less cell phones, more person to person interaction.

    • Henry Murray STILL PEOPLE MANAGE TO GET BOMBS AND THERE ILLEGAL SO WHAT WILL STOP THEM FROM GETTING GUNS?!?think about that.

    • More things will stop them from getting guns then there are now. Im not saying all guns will be gone, Im saying that less people who can cause harm could get them.

  5. That is absolutely correct schools should show more awareness for metal health and should teach more about it

    • Mycheal Kirton that’s not going to stop a person from getting angry or mad.

    • Mycheal Kirton That is a parents job, parents don’t get a pass on PARENTING.

    • Both of you guys are right but people that study in metal health can help with that anger and metal health is not a parents job if something is wrong with your son or daughter metally you cant do anything about it because you dont understand!!!…..

In most cases, murder is driven by emotions. Anger, hate, jealousy, greed. Those are regular human emotions, not clinically diagnosed mental health issues. You try to rationalize why someone would commit murder by saying to yourself, “something must be wrong mentally”. Well that’s just not always the case. Murders almost always have motive, and that motive is not always driven by mental health issues. People are just so quick to blame murder on “mental health issues”. It’s a simple scapegoat, and it’s helps them rationalize in their minds why someone would kill their classmates. Bottom line, let’s leave mental health diagnosis to trained health care professionals. Not actresses in airport parking lots.

    • Take example the Florida shooting

The boy who committed the crime had made so many bomb/shooting threats in the past to the point that he wasn’t even allowed on the high school campus with a backpack

I am not saying that this has anything to do with mental health but we are missing so many warnings signs

We honestly need to stop arguing over whether it’s mental health or gun control and actually do something to assist with both issues

School shootings aren’t 100 percent gun control or 100 percent mental health, it’s both

    • So your saying an 18 year old who decides to shoot up a highschool is mentally ok or in a good place what a genius

  7. I kinda feel bad for her she looked uncomfortable and she was rubbing her stomach and her chest
