  1. this is why “white girl” outrage/meltdowns work. POC would have had security called and be removed.

  2. Never reward a child during a tantrum. Her show is not popular anymore. She’s not Brianne of Tarth.

  3. so “screaming” is equated to raising one’s voice by a few notches…? the lengths people go to hyperbolize and dramatize things…if you’re not assertive and persistent about getting things back the airport, it’s just about a lost cause. i can attest to that from personal experience. my family and i once waited a solid four hours to try and reacquire a piece of luggage that hadn’t shown up. no “we’ll keep you informed”, no “here’s the update…” after initially telling multiple employees. nothing. finally, we threatened to file a complaint on a higher platform of power and the bag was returned within the next 15 minutes. anyway, kate was by no definition having a meltdown. quite a few people would be apprehensive about getting something back that they’ve lost, especially if there’s safety-compromising material in said item (address, financial info, etc).
